About this site

I'm an independent researcher working on chronic body-held tension and how it shapes autonomic state, cognition, and quality of life.

I write The Chronic Bracing Lab — a working document on the framework, the patterns I'm seeing, and what it's like to build research and hardware from outside the university system. The framework is publicly archived as a preprint (10.5281/zenodo.20237464). The wearable device that would make it empirically testable — Soften™ — is in early prototype.

Background: M.S.Ed. and M.Phil.Ed. in Counseling and Mental Health Services / Professional Counseling, University of Pennsylvania. B.S. Health Sciences, Drexel. U.S. Army veteran (airborne combat medic).

Open to conversations with researchers, clinicians, hardware engineers, and mission-aligned funders.
